    Default Number of chair covers

Just something I thought about recently... we're having approx 80 guests during the day and I will be having chair covers with sashes. These chairs will be used in the ceremony room, then taken through to the reception room. At night we'll have about 50 people coming so that means 50 extra seats needed in the hall at night. Do we get all the chairs covered, or is it a waste of money paying to have the chairs for evening guests covered? The venue said they usually just take the covers off for the reception, but they look so nice I will want to have them on all night. Thoughts?? x

    Hiya,

Can you alternate the seats with covers and sash between chairs without?? I am in the same position but not paying to hire extra for night, i will either tell them to take off or alternate (depending on what it looks like). But i agree, its such a waste to not use them.

Hiya, I think alternating is a good idea, and doubt if people will really notice the difference, it will be dark at night anyway

My venue was going to take my covers off, but I have asked if I can keep them on. It seems a shame to pay all that money and then take them away. I am not getting extra at night, so will just alternate as well i think!

We have 50 people during the day and another 100 at night. I have ordered 60 covers so there will be a few spare seats in the ceremony room then they will be taken to the reception room. At night I am leaving them on and having them on every third chair x

Yea same with me, I'm having 60 day guests and around 120 at night, wil just be mixing the seats up bit. Though about putting the seats that dont have covers around the edges so its not as obvious.
