    Default Removing glue from bottles

Any tips on how to get glue off wine bottles? I have managed to get the label off by soaking and most of the glue off with nail varnish remover, but theres still some sticky stuff left??

Maybe warm it up with a hair dryer and then rub it off once sticky?

If you go to any chemist and ask for zoff wipes they should do the trick. They are special little adhesive remover wipes. I use them at work in the hospital for taking off marks from plasters and dressings. They smell a wee bit but are amazing at removing anything sticky. I think a box has about 10 or so wee wipes and they cost a couple if pounds. Hope this helps

Apparently baby oil rubbed into sticky marks on hard surfaces takes it off. Very cheap and worth a try?

We soaked them in a bath with warm water and a Persil tab (I saw it online somewhere!) Then we scrubbed them with one of the cheap greem scourers and they came off pretty clean, there were a few sticky marks but they rubbed off quite easily with a cloth.

Gonna take ages to get the bath clean lololol
