    Default Yankee Candle favours

    Hi all,

I think I have decided on what favours to get the ladies - Wedding Day Yankee Candles.

My question is, how soon can I buy them? I don't get married til June and I am worried about buying them too early.

Do candles lose their smell after a while (or am I just being dumb!!?)

Anyone else thought of this or had something similar?

    x

    Hiya,

Good choice! I'm getting married in July and just bought mine from yankee.co.uk as they were even cheaper than ebay. Bought 50 for 70 plus postage.

They're all individually wrapped so not worried about them losing their smell. Got some extra which I'm dying to light but feel I should wait to wedding day! x

Thanks girls!! It's nice to get a bit of reassurance!

Glad you think it is a good choice Mrs Howie 2 B. I just love the smell of them and every girl loves a candle, right?

Might click on to the yankee candle website and have a wee look now. I saw some on ebay selling for the rrp but free p&p, might try to grab myself a wee bargain!

    Thanks again ladies!

Aw I love the smell. Going to put them in organza bags and order personalised matchboxes to put in with them.

Also thinking of adding a wee poem asking them to light the candle for us on a special night. (Might be too cheesy)? lol

I think the poem is a lovely idea and a nice personal touch!

I was thinking organza bags too and maybe some sparkly confetti (can't have too many sparkles at a wedding!)

Quite excited at the thought of buying them now, another thing to tick off the list - yey!

Are you having anything for the men? I was going to go for scratchcards I think??
