    Default Wedding band

Mojo rising are great. We had a real problem chosing a band and when we heard Mojo rising we booked them straight away. Alice the lead singer is lovely. They always get back to e-mails so quickly. H2B is really picky as he is really musical and only the 2nd band he liked out of about 25 I made him listen too!!. I think the set list is good as it appeals to a lot of ages at the wedding. I like Abba so they do quite a few good songs. I have heard some dreadful bands and I have been at a lot of weddings that only play current pop which is no good for uncles and grandparents so although the set list might not be to your liking it should cater for all the guest are your wedding. Hope you like them x

    Hi
I had my wedding in July this year and we had Corra playing - hey were absolutely fantastic, everyone loved them and the sound quality was amazing; our guests are still talking about the band.

    Thumbs up Go Ernest!

As a videographer shooting some fabulous weddings this year, I would heartily recommend Ernest as my fave so far!

They do cracking energetic cover versions from Beatles through to an amazing version of 'Are We Human' The Killers' and a really funky Ceilidh set too.

    They are seriously talented musicians...!

I only wish I was on commission (guys?! lol)

    All the best

We've booked pulse for our wedding next year. I had heard there stuff online on there websire but booked them after i heard them play at a showcase at the seamill hydro. They seem to have quite a good rep.

    Hi

Two more not on the list are Ocean Drive and Stewart Reid Entertainment. Worked with them both at weddings and they're great. Good mix of music. Think you can book Ocean Drive through Hireaband. Stewart Reid has a website www.weddingandtributebands.co.uk (he does a Robbie Williams tribute act but not at your wedding!!). Stewart is a VOWS Award winner.

We have booked The Works wedding band, have seen them twice, once at the Ayrshire Wedding Show and another wedding band showcase and were really good! Have seen mixed emotion too, and can't say I was a fan to be honest. But everyone likes different things.

Not a band but Hollie Evans is a cracking singer. She always DJ's so if your looking to keep the cost down a bit...

    Hiya,

I've seen the Red Hot Poker band at a friends wedding last year, I have to say I would highly recommend them. They had people on the dance floor all night and do a range of tunes!

    Best of luck!
