Ohh I have been wondering of a different way to dress up my cake table / top table and think I've just found it on this thread! What a great idea. I'm not sure if my new married name will be a bit too long (9 letters!) but I'm definately going to order the Mr & Mrs part!

My new last name would be far too long when you add the letters....plus I think the Mr & Mrs at the bride & groom place settings will be just enough.....for me anyway

Still to add some dimantes, got some 4mm clear ones and some smaller 2mm ones so it looks like a shimmer of sparkle but think I'll leave this to nearer the time

I got these for the cake table, too.
I'm putting diamantes on them so have been slowly working on them every few nights. It's took me ages and I keep running out of the diamantes.

what are you using to stick the diamantes on with is it just normal glue? (might sound like a silly question but just want to make sure they would hold) also are u's covering all of the letters in diamantes?x

I've got some diamantes with the glue already on so all you do is peel it back an stick them on, think it's so much easier than putting the glue on yourself
I'm not covering all the letters, just want some bling so the sparkle has a kind of shimmer effect if that makes sense

I'm using craft glue to make sure the diamantes don't fall off (the diamantes I'm using have glue on the back too). I'm covering the whole letters with diamantes, out theme is sparkles.

I loved the idea of these letters and wanted them for our top table, i thought i could save us a little money, not much i know, so i asked my dad to make them. He has done such an amzing job of them, they look gr8! I am over the moon with them, just need to get the H2B to spray paint them at work for me nearer the time and i can bling them up. I will post some pics of dad's handy work once i get home.

Just wondering do I need to use primer first and then spray paint them or can I just go ahead and spray them . Thinking I should probably make a start on them x

I gave ours a coat of primer. think its best to do that rather than paint directly onto the material.

I would defo recommend using a primer, I had to sand them again after that! Think I'm there now though, gonna start adding all ma wee blingy bits and put them away out my sight, I was sick of looking at them there lol
