I used something similar (seee photo); and used them as decor on top of the fireplace in our lounge for the full the day but transferred them to top table for meal. We scattered single pink roses, pink, yello & sage green rose petals and tea lights around them. They gave the room a romantic, country/vintage feel...loved it!

Thanks for all the nice comments girls, I really love them an they'll save me 100.00+ on flowers for the top table
I love yours miss pickled onion, looks really romantic on the fireplace, I'm having scatter diamonds and black petals on the top table too, don't think we're allowed candles *boo*
I'm going to B&Q today for a couple of sample paints to see which is the "right" colour of cream lol

LN85- I can't remember if we got them from 'country clutter' or a seller on 'not on the high street.com. Or just google 'posh graffitti'. Good luck!

Awww, that's such a nice idea
Well, I've started to try an decorate them today, OMG what a palaver! Bought wee sample paint pots last week an started to paint one today, what a mess! It showed up every brush mark and the tops of the letter were kind of rough! So had to start sanding the tops to make them bit smoother an had to sand off all the paint with a fine sandpaper. Went back to B&Q today an got a spray paint, what a difference it made, it was lovely. Just had to paint the tops of the letters to let the paint sink in, so waiting for that to dry so I can spray the rest of them, hope it turns out ok, thank God I started them now, was gonna maybe leave them till nearer the time lol, wish me luck

Just seen these ones too - bit more pricey right enough but readymade for people like me who are useless at art! x
