    Default Illuminated centrepieces

I was wondering if anyone knew a supplier who did illuminated centrepieces? Got it in my head that I really want something like that for the reception. Has anyone been to a wedding where they had them? Did you think they were nice or tacky? I think someone needs to rein me in, fast... lol xx

I got some floralytes from ebay. I'm going to use aqua gel beads and have the floralyte submerged in the gel. It looks really effective i think. Mrs McD2b-x-

I bought a few packets of the gel beads a few weeks ago to see what they are like so I can use them as centre pieces. They look amazing! Loving the light idea, I had been thinking of building a stand of some type and putting a light of some kind underneath so the floralyte looks like a more realistic option x

I decided on using the clear gel beads with the purple floralyte. I did try it the other way around but the "purple" gel beads were more blue in colour so thats why i decided to go for the clear ones. Unfortunately the purple floralyte is uv light so i hope none of my guests wear white...Ha! Mrs McD2b-x-

I think it's the floralyte gel thing if that the thing that lights up in the photos. Dumb question... is the floralyte illuminated? I have no idea how this works... could someone speak to me like an idiot and explain lol! With pictures if you have them too lol.

Oh dear, sorry guys, I had a quick google of it and I wasn't any the wiser.

I dont have any pics myself but im sure pampered princess has pics in one of her albums, you can access it if you click onto her page. Go onto ebay and search for floralytes. They are small circular disc like things that you can submerge into water or gel beads, all you do is twist them to activate the battery and they light up. You can get all different colours and i think they look fantastic. Mrs McD2b-x-

I am having illuminated centrepieces. I am getting mine all done by Floral Ambitions (she's on here now) and it's all for a very reasonable price which includes set up etc. I'm having thistles and a few roses plus clear gel beads with a purple light underneath which looks brill. I can't wait to see them lol x
