Default Venue help - Loch Lomond (Altskeith House)

    Hello all!

My fiancÚ proposed just before Christmas during a lovely day trip with our little dog. We love Loch Lomond so are hoping to get married somewhere in the area.

We have seen a venue we love - Altskeith House (which is actually on Loch Ard) - and I was wondering if anyone on here has been married there or is planning a wedding there that could give me any advice? We haven't booked yet but I think we have fallen in love with the place and I think it's just a matter of time before we confirm our date. We're looking at May 2019 😊

I've played in Altskeith a number of times and it's a fantasic venue. I was actually wanting to book it for my wedding last year but it was a bit far our grans to travel to.

Further round the Loch is Kinlochard Village Hall. It is a DIY venue but it's beautiful and has amazing views right down the Loch.

As for Loch Lomond itself, you'll not go wrong anywhere though my personal favourites are The Cruin and Ross Priory.

I've got plenty of media of them on my website so you can see them set up if you want to have a look at the venues page.
