    Default Vegan bride

    Did I mention I'm vegan?
I'm planning on having a vegan wedding as me and OH are both this was inclined.
The problem is that most venues refuse to even answer my emails when I ask about this.
I used to work in hospitality so I understand the fear most chefs get at the V-word, but it's getting a bit depressing.
So now I'm thinking I'll have to get somewhere with outside catering, which is fine, but does anyone know places that allow you to bring your own guys in?
I hope someone can help with something, I'm feeling a bit lost.

    Hey Chookypie,
Where are you based? I know that the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens does a good Vegan menu. Also local to there is Sugar Daddys bakery which does vegan wedding cakes

Thanks, I will have a look.
I keep getting told we should just have our meals vegan and feed the guests meat, which is just the most ludicrous idea!

Hey Chookypie, we did a feature on this in Scottish Wedding Venues magazine last year. The venues mentioned in the article were: House of Turin, Myres Castle, Aikwood Tower, The Merchants' Hall, Killearn Village Hall and Craigie.
