I'm a bride to be aswell but haven't booked my venue yet but the dalmahoy is on my list to enquire about. How did you find booking it? When's your big day?

    Hi Heather!
My big day is 29 June 2019! The hotel could not have been anymore helpful. They were able to answer all my questions. As soon as i visited i knew it was the venue for us! It had everything that we were looking for!
    xx

    Hi GillianI
The Dalmahoy is a super venue.
I have been there over 20 times.
The staff are always very helpful and run the place like a ship.
The main function suite looks so much nicer since they modernised it a couple of years ago.
Here are some very short videos of from some of the times that I have been there.

A couple of bits of information to mention to your DJ or band:
    1) They have now moved the area where we are required to set-up. Unfortunately there are no power sockets in that area so one or two 25 metre extension cables are required.
    2) They are one of the few venues that actually require all performers to provide all the legal documents* in-advance of playing. Most professional DJs and bands will have these - but it might be worth checking at the time of booking as I have had to stand in for a DJ who couldn't produce such documents. (*Portable Appliance Test Certificate for Electrical Safety and a Public Liability Insurance Certificate)
    3) I have noticed that they now are able to provide mood-lighting around the room in-house so you won't need the DJ to provide any.

    All the best
