    Default DIY invites

We've sent our invites this week and I was so pleased how the turned out. We came up with the design and my creative little sister helped massively in putting them together! Click image for larger version.

    Beautiful, well done!
I've just started organising my wedding and I'm looking for a way to make it original and not too much expensive. Sorry if my question is too personal but do you think making own invites can save money or actually it's more about putting in your own ideas and creativity?

    Thanks ladies!

Minerva - for us it was a bit of both, I think in total, we spent around 60 on our diy invites we had about 120 to make, so it would've been more expensive to buy them, we also hadn't seen anything that matched what we were thinking and I love that they are totally unique. Diy invites can be expensive too, it depends on your design etc, definitely worth shopping around for supplies x

JRon, thanks very much for your reply. It is truly unique and that's great Yest, I think I need to take time to research and visit shops!
