    Default Spray tan help!

    Hi ladies,

I am getting married in April this year and I'm thinking about getting a spray tan done. I've never had a spray tan before and just wondering if anyone can recommend anywhere in Glasgow or any brands?

    Thanks for your help xxx

I'm April too! I like St tropez but I would recommend trying a few between now and the wedding! And make sure you give yourself a really good body scrub before and don't wear deodorant as it turns green

I'm having my second ever spray tan on Wednesday (first was when I was 14, 10 years ago)! It's St Tropez. I have very pale skin so not sure how it will work out... Will post results. Can't recommend Glasgow salon though, sorry.

I am fairly pale, freckly and a little bit ginger so was always scared of fake tan! I decided to have one done for my sister's wedding, so had a Sienna X spray tan in the palest shade (there are 4), and I am so glad I did. I wasn't orange, but I did have a healthy, natural looking glow and the pics are fab! I'll be going back for my own wedding!

I had mine done in Bathgate, West Lothian but am sure there will be plenty Glasgow salons that use it.

    Good luck x

Hi, I just wanted to offer my advise on the spray tan front. Sienna X are a wonderful brand for brides as there is no orange tone to the tanning solution. It fades well and does not go patchy, which is perfect for after the wedding into the honeymoon. I specialise in the 'barely there bridal tan' . It's the 6% solution from Sienna X range which is most popular with my bridal clients. However there are 8 different shades to suit each brides preferred look and natural skin tone.

A spray tan trial is essential before the wedding tan to determine Whats the perfect shade for you and whether you prefer it 1 or 2 days before your wedding/event.

The spray tan will ensure your hands, elbows and face are flawless as the mist is very fine.

A tip to ensure it does not transfer onto your dress is to use talc after your deodorant. I also do not spray under the arm near the sweat glands to ensure there's no tan on your dress or rubbing off issues.

If you have any other questions about tanning I'm happy to help.

I really like Fake Bake! But whatever you go for exfoliate & moisturise lots in the run up to the wedding
