I ave been dipping my toes into diy again. I thought I'd share some pictures of my name cards and table centres I have been working on. The name cards are based on my invitations.

My table centres are cake stands I have been making using old teasets. My florist is going to decorate them with fresh flowers. These will also double as our favours as there will only be 18 people at the wedding during the day. This is one of the cakestands.

And finally here is a mock up of one of our table centres by our florist. The ivy in this is outdoor ivy which isn't as flexible as indoor ivy, so the real ones will be less rigid looking.

Heather I love your name cards. This looks just like the colour I am having. Where did you get the card and the ribbon from? Did you print them at home? Was it easy? x

I just ordered the card pre folded from ebay...lots of suppliers do it. I then designed them on publisher and printed. It was a bit footery as printer didn't want to pri t on something that small. I designed them on publisher on a page 4 times the size and ensured it was all in the correct place before printing. I then just added the ribbon and bows.x
