    Your wish is my command!

    Corset and crinoline!

    With the frilled petticoat.

    Putting on the skirt.

Emma (Emmeline Couture) fixing the pleats on the bodice.

    The skirt after being fluffed.

Opening up the box with the too narrow veil.

    Placing the veil.

The (too narrow) veil on the skirt.

    The dress bustled.

That dress is amazing! I'm trying to talk myself out of a big dress as it will not suit our day, but this is fantastic.

How have you found working with an individual designer?

I've loved it! Emma and I clicked from our first meeting so even when I had wobbles I knew she'd sort it.

It's lovely to see how your dress looks with a bustle. My dress has a long train and I'm worried about the practicalities of it on the day. Was considering having it shortened in the fittings but might keep it now. Love how the veil detail stands out against the dress too. x

How absolutely gorgeous! Truly stunning. The veil is lovely and with a fuller one it's going to be even more so.

Have to admit I wasn't a fan of the previous pics but seeing it in the full is much better as you don't seem to be spilling over the top quite so much any more.

Still not a fan of such a MASSIVE dress (personal opinion!) but it does look good on you and you can tell it is well made. Hopefully once you get the right size veil it will all look stunning x

Does however remind me of my favourite Disney character and for that reason alone I love it

I really really love the colour of the fabric. I like the shorter versions, you must post pics of the shorter skirt with full petticoat!

I don't think it looks typically bridal but it's certainly unusual and suits you! I can never imagine wearing something so big!!

Totally agree with the Belle comment above!! It's very Disney.

christ on a bike that is huge - but in a good way! Not many people could pull that off but you certainly do, it looks amazing! And again, got to say i love the way the veil sits on the skirt, the colours against eachother are fabulous

WOW!! What a show-stopper of a dress - it's amazing!! It suits you perfectly - you look fantastic. The veil is so unusual but compliments your dress so well. Can't wait to see your wedding pics! x

Stunning!!!! Can't believe they screwed up the veil, though. When is the replacement arriving?

They're estimating that it'll be here around Saturday, 14 April... all of a week before the wedding. I can't say getting the veil has been the most enjoyable part of my wedding planning experience!

Hope you're getting a discount for all the hassle. Not really acceptable.

No discount and apparently she was very abrupt with Emma when arranging the delivery of the faulty veil for the fitting. I had to pay up front for the veil and there hasn't been any offer of a partial refund for the deep inconvenience.

I'm sorry, but that is shocking and not a very good advert for them!

I know, but I really don't know what I can do about it.

On the plus side, Emma has been amazing!
