Ok ladies, after the success of the engagement ring thread (where we have all got to see the lovely and very different engagement rings we all have), I thought we could have a venue thread, where we can see all your beautiful venues.
I'll start with mine which is Oran Mor in Glasgow.
This one isn't us by the way lol. Our wedding isn't until the 26th May 2013

I'm so glad you have said that, I haven't been able to find many reviews on it as a venue lol. It was over our original budget but I just loved it so thought, what the hell. I think that's how we felt as well, we had a good feeling when we went to visit it and the second time we knew for certain it was the one as no other venue made us feel that way.Thank you - I can't wait for our wedding. Wow. Suddenly I'm nervous and it isn't even me getting married lol. I'm sure it will all be wonderful with a beautiful venue like that x2nd September

Dunno how to do more than 1 pic on the same post but here's our ceremony room (unless the sun is shining as we'll be getting married outside then!) Outside can be seen on my avatar < Its set in lovely grounds! Feels like in the country! Loving all the other venues! Very nice!

That was quite a lot of what we loved about it. Photography was really important to us so after finding the venue it was the first thing we sorted.

I'm getting married at the church and we hev decided to get our reception at Beecraigs.
They don't really have pictures yet as I think that they've just started in the weddings.

We are getting hitched at The George Hotel
having our ceremony in the Kings Hall
our drinks reception in the library
and having our photos taken on their gorgeous balcony (fingers crossed that it isn't raining!)
then back to the Kings Hall for our wedding breakfast and reception
